GION SASAKI
祇園さゝ木
The Restaurant Reviews from the Recommending Chefs.
- [Gion-Shijo] is about a 10-minute walk from Keihan Gion-Shijo Station. The inside of the store has a calm atmosphere, and the long counter seats lined up side by side are impressive. It's a kaiseki restaurant, but we recommend all the unconventional and free-thinking dishes. It is used on special occasions such as anniversaries and dinners. It is also attractive to have a good time while enjoying cooking and chatting with the owner.

- About 10 minutes on foot from Gion-Shijo Station on the Keihan Main Line. Gion Sasaki, which stands quietly on Yasaka-dori, where famous restaurants are lined up, is one of Kyoto's leading Japanese cuisine restaurants. Of course, the taste, atmosphere, and service are all impeccable, but what is noteworthy is the high performance. If you sit at the counter, you will be hooked on the lively cooking scenery that unfolds in front of you. The tension rises one after another, such as how sushi is held and fried food.

- One of the Japanese restaurants that has a store near Keihan Gion-Shijo Station and it is difficult to make reservations even in the neighborhood. Kaiseki cuisine, which begins with the chef's direction, is a wonderful taste that you can expect from any dish. In addition, the beauty that makes you feel the elegance and grace of the four seasons is also true. There is also the fun of what kind of dish will appear, and I think that it is a suitable place for a seat with a loved one, as well as a place for celebrations and entertainment.

- It is a Kyoto restaurant with a tsubo-niwa where you can feel the changes of the four seasons in Japan. The elegantly seasoned Japanese food, which is made with ingredients that definitely feel like Kyoto, is very delicious. Mr. Sasaki, the head chef who says "I like to please people", is not only tasty but also really "beautiful". It's cheap in words, but you can enjoy the food that moves you. It's like seeing the chef's lively cooking style, tasting it, and enjoying the meal. When I go home, I am completely satisfied and smiling naturally.
