Tawaramoto Maruto Shoyu

Sashimi is always served in the courses to let you enjoy the fresh soy sauce. Fresh fish from Osaka's market are served. The photo shows tuna and sea bream, colorfully accompanied by freshly picked home-grown vegetables such as daikon radish, Malabar spinach, and okra.

Tender and flavorful Yamato Beef is a rare breed that is hardly available outside the prefecture. Lean meat for lunch and sirloin for dinner are simply and carefully grilled. It is served with a sauce made from fresh moromi (unrefined soy sauce lees), unique to a soy sauce brewery.

Closing the meal is the signature Takikomi Gohan (seasoned steamed rice). It uses Hinohikari rice produced by a neighborhood farmer and delicious seasonal ingredients. By steaming with raw moromi at the end, a nice aroma of soy sauce will be released when eating.
