Our house specialty is a parfait of marinated purple cabbage, cauliflower mousse and fresh, raw vegetables. Even when each one is special in its own w read moreay, enjoying many layers of vegetables together creates a flavorful harmony. We don't just choose the vegetables based on proximity to our restaurant. Sometimes we have produce sent to us directly from Shizuoka and Nagano, and Chef Omote will even go to Kamakura himself to check out the ingredients. We proactively incorporate vegetables that are special to Japan, such as wasabi leaves and hojiso (shiso buds). Our chef's philosophy is not only to prepare dishes but also to entertain our customers. He explains, "My hope is that they are able to experience the fun, happiness and surprises of cuisine through the personal ideas I have incorporated into the dishes." Our service is that which a restaurant should have, but the atmosphere is casual. Dress code is not too strict, and some customers come dressed in jeans and a t-shirt.
