Enjoy a whole large Japanese eel (240g) with carefully selected rice from Hachidaime Gihe-e, an old Kyoto rice store. Served with wasabi and chopped leek. The set meal includes clear soup, chawanmushi (steamed egg and other ingredients), and pickles. 

Enjoy a half-large Japanese eel (120g) with carefully selected rice from Hachidaime Gihe-e, an old Kyoto rice store. This size is the same weight as a whole eel at standard eel restaurants. Served with wasabi and chopped leek.

While waiting for the eel, enjoy Dassai, a famous sake brand of Junmai Daiginjo (the highest grade of sake), and Uzaku, a dish combining vinegared eel and cucumber. Dassai is a Japanese sake that goes very well with the eel. The restaurant offers 3 kinds of Dassai sake.
