The highlight of the tour in Shikoku is no doubt the Dogo hot spring. It is famous as the oldest hot spring in Japan. Dogo hot spring Honkan, the main house plays a role of symbol in the area, its historic three-storied wooden structure is designated as an important cultural property. There are two bathrooms called Kaminoyu, a god bath, and Tamanoyu, a spiritual bath. The facility opens at 6:00 AM with echoing drumbeats and operates until 23:00 PM. After easing your fatigue in the relaxing hot spring, why don’t you visit some sightseeing spots?
