Sapporo is best known for the Snow Festival that is held every year in February, the coldest period in the year. More than 200 snow sculptures welcome more than 2,000,000 visitors from all over the world at the festival. The snow festival is just one attraction you can find in Sapporo. There are many spots you want to visit here and there including the Sapporo Clock Tower, the symbol of Sapporo, and you can view the whole city of Sapporo from the Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill on the outskirt of Sapporo.
