Manno Town is a new town formed after a merge of three towns in 2006. As a result of the effort of preserving its traditional culture and irrigation systems, Manno Town is selected as one of the hundred “cities of water”. Manno-Ike Pond is the largest reservoir in Japan and sustains the water supply system for a long time. Sanuki Manno Park, a government managed park, has many facilities including Sizenseitaien which is a field museum designed to restore a village life in Sanuki area, Sanuki-no-mori which is a grove where you can stroll around with observing flora and fauna of Sanuki area, a cycling course, an auto-camping site, and log cabins with bath facilities. You can feel and enjoy the nature for days.
