Area Map
KAMATA, located at 10-minute away from the Haneda Airport by train, is a traditional folks town where you can find common Japanese lives when you stroll about the shopping street. Although it is largely unknown even among the people in Tokyo, Kamata is a town of hot springs. You can find eight hot springs in ten-minute walk area around the Kamata station where you can enjoy traditional Japanese-style public bath, spa, resort-type bath, etc. The blackish brown water, called "kuro-yu (black water)", makes your skin smooth and bright, and is also said to have healing effects for illnesses and injuries.
