Famous for new green leaves in summer and red leaves in fall, Lake Towada is a part of Towada Hachimantai National Park. The lake surface reflecting the blue sky and green leaves of the trees surrounding the lake shore makes it a perfect scenery, turning many tourists to frequent visitors. When you visit the lake, it's a good idea to enjoy the pleasure cruise operating from April to November. You can enjoy the view exclusively available from the boat. You may also want to visit the clean Okuirase mountain stream which starts from the Nenokuchi of Lake Towada. Strolling on the walkway along the stream surrounded by native forest will make you relax.
