When you think of Okinawan brand-name meats, Agu pork and Ishigaki beef often come into mind. Agu pork is more marbled than regular pork, and has a flavor that melts in your mouth. Ishigaki beef also has a melt-in-your-mouth feeling and is not too fatty, making it easy to eat. If you’d like to try both of these Okinawan brand-name meats, we recommend the Ishigaki Beef & Agu Pork Course (6,200 JPY (plus tax)). You can also enjoy appetizers, fried foods, and local vegetables here.

Who says yakiniku must be expensive? Here, you can get Okinawan Ishigaki beef at low prices. The restaurant’s most popular item is the Yaki Shabu (1,900 JPY (plus tax)), which uses top loin. Quickly broil the meat until it just starts to change colour, then wrap it around slices of onion and dip it in ponzu (citrus-seasoned soy sauce). The sourness of the ponzu perfectly complements the umami of the Ishigaki beef to create a masterful delight.
