Items on the menu which do not require a reservation include the [Arashiyama Lunch Kaiseki], which consists of rice cooked in a do-nabe with seasonal ingredients, as well as the [Gion Lunch Kaiseki], consisting of rice cooked in a do-nabe with abalone and sea urchin. You can get a taste of Kyoto without leaving Tokyo! Kappou Kiyomizu is not only very particular about the ingredients used, but it also pays careful attention to the sake (Japanese alcohol) it stocks, as well as the interior decor and tableware. This kind of attention to detail can only be experienced first-hand.
