Ramen is undoubtedly one of Japan's internationally-recognized cuisine, and many people travel to Japan to taste the original ramen. However, in Japan ramen is considered fast food and most of ramen establishments do not accept reservations. Kappa Ramen Honpo is one of the few ramen restaurants that accept advanced reservations. The tonkotsu ramen which soup is made using pork's back fat, is prepared from 8 hours before serving, results in thick, savory flavor. If you are out in Dotonbori area, you can try this ramen at the Sen-nichi-mae store. As there are more counter seats than table seats, we recommend making reservations for your family so you can be seated together.
