Among them is Hokkaido's comfort food [Genghis Khan], which is cooked in various styles depending on the region. If you are about to head there, this dish is something that you should not miss. Read on for more details about Hokkaido's top gourmet restaurants. But watch out, because this article is not for people who are on a diet!
1. Genghis Khan Daruma 4.4 Nikaitei
Daruma serves [Genghis Khan] (Mongolian-style barbecue consisting of mutton, vegetables, and sometimes meat), which is Susukino's special dish. This restaurant is the 4th branch built within its 60 years of operation. Unlike its predecessors, the 4.4 Nikaitei style was built to appeal to female customers and those who don't want their belongings to smell like barbeque. It achieves this by putting lockers for storing belongings in a separate area from the dining area. Enjoy Genghis Khan and continue smelling fresh afterwards!
Its taste has withstood the test of time, and many regulars love it.
